This is my 2nd collection of songs that didn't get to be on what you might call a "proper" studio album, for potentially a whole host of reasons.
Maybe they didn't fit stylistically or thematically. Maybe they're not songs I picture myself playing live that much, or maybe they weren't quite good enough to be on another album. Maybe it was good enough, but I later came up with alternate mix or style of recording/playing to the one that did make an album.
So while they may not be my best, as any good parent loves all their kids, even the annoying ones, I love all my songs. So I recorded them for my sake - and, once they're recorded, they may as well go out into the world to try their best, even if I don't have much hope for them hitting the heights.
